Designing websites and digital products always brings me joy.
The importance of a web property which communicates a clear message in a concise way cannot be overstated. My design philosophy is simple: Whether it’s an e-commerce site, promotion, brand site or app, the foundation is the same. The intent is to make the information easy to digest and intuitively actionable. I use technology to facilitate this goal.

Revelation helpdesk needed a website built to help it compete in the crowded world of helpdesk software. We knew the application had to be the star. We got to work and created a colorful, branded site that looks great on all devices, and that highlights all the strong features available to prospective customers.

An English chef following his bliss bought a house with multiple Gités in the French countryside. Following his dream, he created a relaxing culinary destination for people who need to escape the harried day-to-day. We created a logo, brand and website, and hooked it up to HomeAway and Airbnb. A dream come true.

I designed this website for Westport Dental Associates. They wanted a website designed to spotlight their world class offices on the Saugatuck River. They also wanted an easy interactive functionality, where customers would be able to pay bills, schedule appointments, access 24-hour emergency contact information, and leave reviews.

I designed this website for Pediatric Dentistry of Westport. They wanted a website that appealed to kids, that parents trusted, and that worked on all devices, of course. PROJECT Carolyn Kuan
Carolyn Kuan, the esteemed Music Director and Conductor of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, needed a website to promote her concerts and festival work. She engaged Synergy, and we created this clean, classical site for her to establish a rapport and interact with her public.

PROJECT Subway Scrabble
The goals behind this promotion were to create consumer awareness about the brand, and drive sales. The website included an interactive feature called the Sub Creator, where visitors could create their own sub sandwiches, print out these ingredients, and take the printouts to their local Subway restaurants. At the restaurants, they had a one in two chances of winning instantly. They also could play online to win ten $100,000 jackpots. Boy did it work!
Some statistics: One million unique visitors; Of those, 40% registered, and 85% of the registered players opted in. 65% were new to the database. On average, there were 5 visits per person, with each person interacting for 5 minutes per visit.
It also garnered a Reggie win and a Webby Awards honorable mention.

PROJECT Mead FIVE STAR
Five Star products are Mead's signature school supply brand. This project started as a promotion, which then led to the brand site. The promotion was a fresh, interactive music-mixing contest, where young visitors could create tunes on our custom application "music mixer". The songs were voted upon, and the winners received a variety of Mead school supplies.
